Have you been wondering about the difference a solid nutrition program can make on your performance and body composition? Are you really not sure of a carbohydrate being good or bad? Do you know what a carbohydrate is used for or what type of fat to eat?
On April 1, 2017 at 10:00 a.m. Nutrition Certified Coach Luke Atchley will be hosting an hour-long seminar at CrossFit Zachary covering the fundamentals of sound nutrition where you will learn how to increase performance and optimize your body composition.
During the seminar we will cover:
- The reasons we eat
- Food type and amounts for specific goals
- When to eat
- Finding nutritional balance instead of nutritional perfection for permanent results
In addition to the hour-long seminar, students will have the opportunity to join the eight week long, CrossFit Zachary’s “Eat Clean, Live Lean Nutritional Program” where students will put into practice the lessons they’ve learned during the seminar in a simple and systematic way.
The nutrition program will provide members with access to a private Facebook group with weekly video content, useful downloads to aid in their nutrition practices, weekly Q&A with Coach Luke, and community support and accountability with other members of the program who are facing some of the same obstacles you’re facing during the eight weeks.
The seminar is open to the public and free for members of CFZ and $15 for non-members who wish to attend. The cost for the eight-week program is $49.99 (less than $7 a week).
