I started thinking about joining CrossFit Zachary when Mike and Nicki Harvey came over for a birthday party and were telling me of this awesome workout place called CFZ that had been attending. At the time all I did was run, but I wanted to start on weights. I figured I would give it a try.
When I finished my first workout “Cindy” I thought I would die. I couldn’t do any of it correctly. I often still feel like I’m going to die after a workout if I go in and push myself. I love it! It’s been 4 years since I started and I don’t remember my first PR. I have had many along the way. First push-up, pull-up, squat max, double unders and the list goes on. I enjoy the community- feel every time I go. Always cheering each other on, pushing each other to work harder, and always a laugh.
