I was a member of the “Globo” gyms on and off since high school. I was so bored with those gyms that I hated working out. It took me about 2 years, but I decided to give Crossfit a try. As I think back on my time with CrossFit Zachary, I cannot even come up with a favorite memory. I just love being there.
These workouts are hard as hell!!! That feeling hasn’t changed for me, I just don’t get as nervous going into it. I’ve had a few PR’s in the past year, but I think my biggest gains have been in back squats and deadlifts. I can also do a few strict pull-ups now. My diet has always been a big struggle. It’s a constant work in progress.
