With CrossFit Kids starting up this week, we wanted to feature someone who’s been with CrossFit Zachary through the kids program and now at the age of 15 has moved into the adults program. Ethan has proven that fitness is for all ages and levels and you’re never too young to start. He’s inserted himself into the community and we love having him around. We asked him a few questions about his time here and here’s what he had to say:
When were you introduced to CrossFit?
I was first introduced to Crossfit when my mother started to workout. I was introduced to it at a very young age, and have grown up with it.
What was your first impression?
My first Impression of Crossfit was probably different than most. I was really young when I first saw people working out, so it felt exciting when I could work out like the adults.
Are there any bright spots that stick out to you?
My first “bright spot” was pull ups. I think that going through the different movements like the banded pull ups and jumping pull ups helped with not only how many I could do, but how well I could do them.
What specific types of movements are you working on now?
